OmniVision offers two common intermediate format (CIF) single-chip video/imaging camera devices that provide a high level of functionality in a single, small-footprint package designed to easily be converted to NSTC or PAL standards.

The company’s CIF devices incorporate a 352 x 288 image array capable of operating at 30 to 60 frames per second (fps). Proprietary sensor technology utilizes advanced algorithms to cancel fixed pattern noise (FPN), eliminate smearing and drastically reduce blooming.

OmniVision’s digital 400 x 400 sensors have an image array capable of operating at up to 30 frames per second (fps) in CIF with complete user control over image quality, formatting and output data transfer.

All CIF sensors are available in lead-free packaging.
