(Nasdaq: OVTI), a market-leading independent supplier of CMOS CameraChip™ solutions for high-volume imaging applications, today announced it has signed an agreement with Hyundai’s Curitel division to develop and mass produce CameraChip™ modules for Hyundai Curitel’s newest cellular telephones. The camera module will be designed around OMNIVISION’s patented MPC™ (Mobile Phone Camera) technology.
