(OTCBB: VLTA – News), to provide digital CameraChips™ for use in Vialta’s Beamer™ BM-80, the first Phone Video Station™. Beamer instantly adds color motion video to phone calls, enabling users to see the person they are speaking with. Beamer is compatible with any home phone over any standard (analog) phone line at no additional cost compared to a regular phone call.

The OV6630 is a 352X288 resolution color CameraChip™ designed for Digital Still and video camera applications that require cost effective, lower resolution images for low bandwidth applications where high quality is a requirement. The OV6630 CameraChip™ utilizes a 1/4-inch lens format and operates on 3.3 volts.

Beamer BM-80 launched nationally in mid-August and is currently available in Best Buy Fry’s Electronics stores, as well as selected Comp USA Stores. Beamer is also available online at www.vialta.com. Beamer’s MSRP for the dual pack, which contains two individually packed units, is $499.99. The MSRP for a single unit is $299.99.
